Once again I would like to thank you for the course you’ve delivered last week and for having given me personally some grounds, knowledge and tools to maintain my position in my daily talks to our legal group when bidding for a job we’re tasked to work on a customer-provided draft contract in an effort to tailor it to meet our internal standards and to align it with the commercial proposal we make. I would be pleased to continue on the training courses you offer in the future, please add my e-mail address to your distribution list. I’ve also circulated the word on your international legal English certificate course you’re planning to have in Almaty among my colleagues.

Excellent! I had a great, truly beneficial experience. I recommend Legal English courses even to native speakers! I've learnt here how to write better, more persuasive, using "tips & tricks" that no other school would teach! Thank you Mr. Brady.
- Ranete Ana Maria, lawyer in Bucharest, Romania

Let me begin by thanking you for the Contract Drafting course. It was extremely clear and useful, especially for a "civil law" user, given that our remedies are slightly different. What I appreciated the most were the lectures re representations, warranties, indemnities. I have already recommended my colleagues to also join this course.

Free English Test

The Following test should take about 70 - 75 minutes to complete. There are 77 questions. All the questions are multiple choice questions – You have to select the one correct answer to each question and click on that appropriate answer. Try to spend less than one minute on any answer.

At the end of the test your score will be immediately notified to you, together with some comments about the strengths, or weaknesses of different areas of your English language ability.

The test can be used to see if your English is strong enough for you to begin studying on one of our Legal English courses.  Because Legal English (Legalese) is different from ordinary English using words and phrases from Latin and the old Norman -French language and unusual grammatical constructions and vocabulary. We usually suggest that only participants scoring 60%, or above, on this test are ready to comfortably move on to one of the Legal courses which we run.
We are always happy to discuss this however and if you have any questions about your score or your English language ability then please e mail us at info@british-legal-centre.com and we will respond within 24 hours to your enquiry.

Please enter your name and e-mail address in the boxes below to begin the test . Please complete all the questions in sequence.
