A course of 7 intensive modules which teaches participants to understand the kinds of legal agreements needed to protect themselves and their clients. During the lessons we will take you through the major phases of startup and financing, telling you what you can expect and how to make informed decisions. We’ll even give you your own templates to work with.

This is an MBA level class taught by an experienced MBA/Law professor.

Module 4: Website Agreements

Privacy (global standard); Cookie Policies; Terms of Use, Terms of Service; Develop your own template.

Module 5: Licensing

SaaS (software as a service); EULA (end-user license); Service Level Agreements; Develop your own template and negotiate with informed confidence.

Module 6: Investor agreements

Private equity risks and benefits; Dilution; Clawbacks, sweat, dynamic; Exit strategy.

Module 7: E-Commerce: Selling to the EU, USA, UK, Canada & Australia

Consumer rights; EU and Eurozone; Data privacy – GDPR and more; UK and Brexit issues; USA - 50 states and hotspots to be aware of; Canada; Australia.
