Overview

This intensive course provides guidance and training for lawyers involved in litigation, arbitration and negotiation where they need to persuade their readers. The course uses 24 recordings from the legal writing course, covering the most advanced topics, backed-up with live lessons and web-quests.

The essential legal skills needed for writing to persuade are covered in detail, including text structure, vocabulary and psychology of persuasion. This is a course of advanced legal writing skills for lawyers who want their written arguments and proposals to win cases.

The course is structured to include a live lesson broadcast after each group of 4 pre-recorded lessons. There are quizzes and exercises after each recorded lesson. There will be 6 web-quests, one following each live lesson – where the participants will have to carry out their own research to answer a legal question, as in their real working lives.
